She put her own style to it, not bad, the original was better in my opinion. But it goes without saying Gloria is a talented Singer with some Hits under her belt so too speak. When she sang with thr Miami Sound Machine who bandleader Emilio composed a sound all of their own Congo was a great hit still makes the people want to dance. She sang a remake Turn the Beat Around originally sang by Vicky Sue, Robinson, I liked Glorias better than the original So stop hating on my Gloria she was a Cuban American Girl now a, Woman who obtained her American Dream with lots of hard work, raw tslent and determination, Proud of my Cuban Americans.

Ano 1994.

I like this version because it respects the original, which is a masterpiece.

You obviously don't have a good ear for music. Besides, this was recorded in 1994 and is included on her "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" covers CD.

This is very good. But Dr Buzzard and Cory Daye were brilliant and it swung a lot more. The video we have of Dr. Buzzard's version on YouTube is low quality but the choreography is astounding and the whole thing is just one of my favorite performances of all time. Cherchez la Femme is a brilliantly written and scored song with fabulous chords and and I'm always happy to hear covers of it. Another is Steely Dan's "Glamour Profession" on Gaucho.

I never knew she did a cover for this song. I've always listened to Dr. Buzzard. Not bad, but it sounds too much like theirs.

You have no idea the range of music I like. It's my opinion on the two different versions. Go to my YouTube channel and see what music I actually create. Do you create music or do you simply sit back and listen to what other creative and talentive people create and then pontificate on what is crap and isn't crap? I've actually spent decades in the studio and I know how to produce, perform, and write internationally known and appreciated music. Do you? Perhaps you just like sloppy production.

Gloria does not have her own material so she had to butcher this song. Say Good Night Gloria. her voice is so mono tone.

If this is what you like then you have taste for crap.

This song is too complex for her singing abilities.

Okay, she is not the best singer BUT, she has great taste in music selection and she is a great songwriter too. There are a LOT of artist out now that can't sing, write, or perform. At least she can do 2 out of the 3.

I'll "flush my head gear" when you learn how to speak English and spell correctly. You are obviously an idiot. Come to think of it, I am quite confident my head gear is in great working order. I've been a musician, songwriter, and singer for over 40 years. I stand by my opinion. Yes, you have the right to your opinion, but stop sounding like a misfit and people might listen to you.

This is much better than Dr. Buzzard's. The original one was a mess. Terrible mixing, inferior vocals, musicians out of sync. No, this one beats hell out of the Buzzard's.
