The vocals/lyrics are drowned-out by the frenzied electro-shrouded instrumentals, & and the overall feel of the recording is a bit too aggressive to the point where the atmospheric-poignancy seems lost in the distorted-electronic production smothering everything from the vocals & thus inevitably the powerful lyrical content - which played a vital role regarding the spirit of the song.As an alternative rendition by a different band, however, it is an effort that does generate its own unique appeal. Not a bad cover at all.

hands down best cover. You can bring a different interpretations to covers, but you should stick to the original intent/feeling of the song.

I have a feeling people don't like the other cover songs as much because they are too different from the original. But I think that's the whole point of a cover song, to make it your own. This cover is good, but it does sound very alike the original.
