Thats very posssible since I have a few London Records stock 45's from about this same time frame (1973) and they're in mono. (MAM was a sub-label of London)

Ah, sweet memories of 1973 and an eight-year-old whose life-long love of music was in full bloom. I loved this song so much, and played it over and over on my $20 record player. It's still one of my favorite songs to this day. Has it really been almost 40 years? I'd heard that the 45 mix was different than the LP mix, and it's true! Thanks for another great upload, Phil.
