my wife died in a terrible car accident 5 days after our 10th anniversary. We planted many flowers in our garden and it is such a bitter sweet sight to watch them bloom every year. Oh how I miss you Jennifer. My heart will always be with you

My beautiful Maggie went far away into The Silent Land on this day, 27 March 2006. Just love the emotion George put into this song - takes some of the pain away, but not the longing for her. Put yellow roses on her grave, but I can't wait to be with her again, knowing she is dancing with the gentle winds in Heaven. Thank you, David, for your kind words - hope to meet George & Nancy too - can I take my Pedal Steel with me ???

Kenny, my heart goes out to you. At least you can take comfort that you had some time with the love of your life. Also, the greatest voice to ever sing country music expressed your heartache in this amazing song. May God bless you and Maggie as well as George and Nancy. George once said if you live long enough to be truly happy then it is all worth it. I hope to find that happiness one day.

very apt words to my situation - lost my beloved Maggie in 2006, but the pain and hurt still remain. Love you until the day after forever. The roses still bloom in our garden mydarling, they will return each spring, but you will not. Yours forever, Kenny xxx.

Thank you George Glen Jones for the years of countless hours of joy you brought to my heart. As Garth Brooks said, "Simply the greatest voice to ever sing country music". Most people say "He Stopped Loving Her Today" is the greatest country song ever recorded, but I contend that because of George's voice at 68 and this song written and produced by Keith Stegall, this may very well be the best country song ever recorded. What makes this even more astounding is that these "working vocals".

A 57 year old man shouldn't cry listening to a song. george has always been able to do this to me. I remember setting in a studio at a local radio station while my dad and his band did his music. God Bless you George and tyhank you for the memories
