This is just a part from the whole movie 'The Phantom of the Opera (2004)' which I love that much. A part where Christine Da'ae (Emmy Rossum) sing for the first time in the opera performance before she met with Raoul aka Vicomte de Chagny (Patrick Wilson) and The Phantom (Gerard Butler). Her voice is superb!

Here is the lyric:

CHRISTINE:

Think of me, think of me fondly,

when we've said goodbye.

Remember me once in a while -

please promise me you'll try.

When you find that, once again, you long

to take your heart back and be free -

if you ever find a moment,

spare a thought for me

We never said our love was evergreen,

or as unchanging as the sea -

but if you can still remember

stop and think of me . . .

Think of all the things

we've shared and seen -

don't think about the way things

might have been . . .

Think of me, think of me waking,

silent and resigned.

Imagine me, trying too hard

to put you from my mind.

Recall those days

look back on all those times,

think of the things we'll never do -

there will never be a day,

when I won't think of you . . .

RAOUL:

Can it be? Can it be Christine?

Bravo!

Long ago, it seems so long ago

How young and innocent we were...

She may not remember me,

but I remember her...

CHRISTINE

Flowers fades,

The fruits of summer fade,

They have their seasons, so do we

but please promise me, that sometimes

you will think of me!

All 4 of you should be stocked forever by the phantom playing this scene over and over again. In the words of the king from the movie " man in the iron mask" . " LISTEN TO IT TELL YOU LOVE IT AND DIE LISTENING TO IT !"

Its okay, but I like the 25 anniversary edition better. But that may be because I saw that before this one.

Probably some die-hard Broadway fans who think that anything beyond the stage production must be monkey caca, even if the film's as wonderfully made as this one (never mind Andrew Lloyd Weber actually directed this film if I remember right...that's the same dude who's responsible for the Broadway production of the Phantom of the Opera, by the way. I guess the 'fans' missed that little detail in the midst of their hating on something that doesn't warrant such hating).

It's so awkward when you only not like it because it doesn't match perfectly from the version on your ipod :(
