ALL I ASK OF YOU (The Phantom Of The Opera)

RAOUL:

No more talk of darkness,

Forget these wide-eyed fears.

I'm here, nothing can harm you

My words will warm and calm you.

Let me be your freedom,

Let daylight dry your tears.

I'm here, with you, beside you,

To guard you and to guide you

CHRISTINE:

Say you love me

Every waking moment

Turn my head with talk of summertime

Say you need me with you, now and always

Promise me that all you say is true

That's all I ask of you

RAOUL:

Let me be your shelter

Let me be your light.

You're safe: no one will find you

Your fears are far behind you

CHRISTINE:

All I want is freedom

A world with no more night

And you always beside me

To hold me and to hide me

RAOUL:

Then say you'll share with me

One love, one lifetime

Let me lead you from your solitude

Say you need me with you here, beside you

Anywhere you go,let me go too

That's all I ask of you

CHRISTINE:

Then say you'll share with me

One love, one lifetime

CHRISTINE:

Say the word and I will follow you

BOTH:

Share each day with me, each night, each morning

CHRISTINE:

Say you love me

RAOUL:

you know I do

BOTH:

Love me

That's all I ask of you

BOTH:

Anywhere you go let me go too

Love me

That's all I ask of you

ISSO É TUDO O QUE TE PEÇO.

(em Português , do Brasil)

RAOUL:

Não vamos mais falar da escuridão

Esqueça esses medos

Eu estou aqui, nada pode te ferir

Minhas palavras irão te aquecer e te acalmar

RAOUL:

Deixe-me ser seu abrigo,

Deixe-me ser sua luz

Você está segura:

Ninguém te achará, seus medos estão longe...

CHRISTINE:

Tudo o que quero é liberdade

Um mundo sem noites...

E você sempre ao meu lado

Para me segurar e me esconder...

RAOUL:

Então diga que compartilhará comigo

Um amor, uma vida

Deixe-me conduzir você dessa sua solidão...

Diga que precisa de mim com você aqui, do seu lado...

Qualquer lugar que você for, deixe-me ir também

Christine, isso é tudo o que te peço...

CHRISTINE:

Diga que compartilhará comigo

Um amor, uma vida

Diga a palavra e eu seguirei você...

OS DOIS:

Compartilhe comigo cada dia, cada noite, cada manhã...

CHRISTINE:

Diga que me ama...

RAOUL:

Você sabe que amo...

OS DOIS:

Me ame

Isso é tudo o que te peço...

OS DOIS:

Qualquer lugar que você for, deixe-me ir também

Me ame,

Isso é tudo o que te peço..

Le Fantôme de l'Opéra (English: The Phantom of the Opera) is a novel by French writer Gaston Leroux. It was first published as a serialisation in "Le Gaulois" from September 23, 1909 to January 8, 1910. Initially, the story sold very poorly upon publication in book form and was even out of print several times during the twentieth century; it is overshadowed by the success of its various film and stage adaptations. The most notable of these were the 1925 film depiction, Ken Hill's 1976 musical at the Theatre Royal Stratford East followed twelve years later by Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical.

The Phantom of the Opera is a 2004 film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical of the same name, which in turn was based on the French novel Le Fantôme de l'Opéra by Gaston Leroux. Directed by Joel Schumacher, the film was also produced and co-written by Lloyd Webber. The Phantom of the Opera stars Gerard Butler in the title role, Emmy Rossum as Christine Daaé, as well as Patrick Wilson, Miranda Richardson, Minnie Driver and Jennifer Ellison.

The film was announced as early as 1989, but production only started in 2002 due to Webber's divorce and Schumacher's busy career. It was entirely shot at Pinewood Studios, with scenarios also being depicted with the help of miniatures and computer graphics. Most of the actors had no singing experience, and had to receive music lessons. The Phantom of the Opera grossed approximately $154 million worldwide, and received mixed to negative reviews, praising the visuals but criticizing the writing and directing.

Does anyone else hear that the voice of this singer is electronically mixed with the voice of Sarah Brightman by the musical engineer? Like no one can sing it as good as she did? If you listen carefully, don't you clearly hear the parts where it is mixed?

As a man, I say that Raoul is a true man of character and integrity. Erik is an insane master of seduction.

Not a fan of Raoul but even as years went by, I still think that Christine made the wisest choice.

To all those who have commented or will comment about how Christine's choice(s) about love were wrong or say that it is bad writing, FUCK... YOU! It is a beautiful piece of literature and film. The story arc would be nowhere near as good if Christine chose Erik (The Phantom) as it would probably have ended very soon after she met him the first or second time. If they both values each other as much as or more than their music, then the story would be shit. The whole "love triangle" was the main tragedy of the story, so not interesting if there was no love interest for good/ evil, good for her/bad decisions now would there? You know its true. Also, I do not think The Phantom was mad/insane/desperate like everyone else thinks. He was a brilliant, intelligent man who had two desires in his life: to live in peace, and to have Christine as his woman. He went to extreme measures to force love that was not quite there, nor could any love from Christine could be given to The Phantom, as he was fearful and maniacal. She was interested in the mystery of her teacher and The Phantom, but there was no love. True, she felt compassion, but more "sad for him/minor pity" than anywhere close to love.If you agree/disagree with me, by all means, go ahead and write your comments. I might read them at some point, but FREE COUNTRY, we all have different opinions.

Christine was skank playing on 2 different men. Typical woman.
