I have that album and it does actually has it listed with the "o" But I know you are right about the name.

Had a girlfriend who was from Phenix City when I was in the Army over in Bamberg, Germany. She used to play this song.

Yep! You did! You spelled the city if you were in AZ. The one in AL is spell without the letter "o" in it. I should know - I'm from there.
