Charted at #14 in Billboard in July 1954. From the operetta, "The Vagabond King". Original Billboard review: "The warbler takes the fine Friml evergreen and hands it a vibrant reading over a snappy backing by the Paul Weston ork. It could be a big one for Laine and should go well on the boxes."

Written by Rudolf Friml & Brian Hooker.

Other artists who have sung this song include Mario Lanza and Judith Raskin, Jeanette MacDonald, Kathryn Grayson, Tony Martin, and Lois Hunt and Earl Wrightson.

The other side of this single is "There Must Be A Reason".

Many are unaware that though Nan Grey, Frankie's wife had 2 sons, They never had children together. To compensate for this He did a lot of charity work in hospitals for sick children. He had a faith, a heart....and a wonderful voice. ( from a uk friend of FL)

Frankie Laine with Paul Weston & His Orchestra was always a good combination. Listening to this now one realises just how good Frankie was and how pleasant the music of the 50's was.
