In house I much prefer a voice like FC's with it's big spinto/dramatic sound for Manrico versus the more Lyric or Lyric Spinto voices like Bergonzi or Bjorling doing it even though they are fantastic musically and artistically speaking. Also MDM and Tucker where well suited to the role in house. Fine job here!

Listen to this magnificent rendition of this aria. Throughout, solid vocalizing. This great artist was essentially self-taught, learning technique from recordings of Caruso, del Monaco, Gigli. And he did indeed learn a special technique which made him a standout. This is Corelli at his very best.
