Oops. Let me clarify something, Charles. I meant "There's hope yet FOR HUMANKIND with people like you...." Sorry.

There's hope yet for people like you, Charles! Langford's musical touch was ever more poignant coming from a Victrola radio on a Friday night as the family gathered around it after dinner or supper, depending upon what part of the country you lived in. Charles, what's your take on another singer of that time, Shirley Ross, who coupled up with Bob, "The Lady's in Love..."?

It knows no bounds, in fact I've published two time travel novels about Frances and am almost finished the third. You can check them out on amazon.com. A mixture of fact and fiction

Well, I thank you! There was an intensity, for lack of a better word, about Frances singing. A clarity. Many have sung this song, very well, you lean back relax, enjoy. But Frances, you're on the edge of your seat, marvelling at the gorgeous tone and the way she articulates every word! This can't be taught, it comes from the heart. Love the way Hope yells at the end of the song, "How About That!" INDEED! Again I thank you!
