I've always been so confused by these lyrics. I realize they're a christian band, so they're no doubt talking about Jesus or something to that effect. Is she wanting to bang Jesus or something? by going to church u show God how much you love him. you say hey god i love u so much im gonna go to church with all these "hypocrites" and stand through the "boring sermon" just cuz i love u. that's what going to church does. not to mention we get closer to god.
