metal is not a subgenre of rock. metal itself is such vast genre, it's subgenre of nothing. it has its roots in rock, but it was mixed with the melody of classical, the agression and speed of punk, was influenced by folk and jazz and countless other things. also, finding paralels between bands like this or lets say defeated sanity and typical rock will be quite hard, apart from the use of distorted guitar.

@Stellar4204life Because it takes musical knowledge and a gradual introduction; as well as, an open mind to understand and appreciate music of this ridiculous style. I don't look at total views because my music is mostly "underground". What I notice is 151 likes and 1 dislike!! So too me less people may know about the music, but for all intents and purposes 100% of the metal heads who have heard this music, like it, no, Love it!

@bizarredude101 Francesco was guitars and vocals for HoP. Mauro Mercurio, the drummer for Hour of Penance, did drums on this album because at the time, Fleshgod didn't have a full time drummer. FRancesco took over on Mafia.
