Fleetwood Mac - Big Love (Demo) video free download

This is a demo version of Fleetwood Mac's "Big Love", taken from their 1987 album "Tango in the Night". It was written by Lindsey Buckingham, and presumably this was recorded during the 1986/7 "Tango in the Night" sessions.
This is pretty drastically different from the completed version that comes to be on the album. It seems to be a very skeltal version ready for him to add overdubs, etc. and get a general feel of the song. The only thing that has stayed the same are the "love grunts" (*wink*) that were made using just Lindsey's own voice and a pitch shifter.
The pictures are of Lindsey from various eras, with a few of him with Stevie Nicks thrown in for good measure.

@sevmoone There are so many inaccuracies here I don't know where to begin. Firstly, Peter Gabriel does no backing vocals at all on "Hounds of Love". Secondly, Stuart Elliot and Charlie Morgan did the drums on that album, the former playing the drums on "Running Up That Hill". Thirdly, Mick Fleetwood has never worked with neither Kate Bush nor Peter Gabriel.14 years ago

Buckingham is genius. His later live performances of this song morphed through the pain of his tormented relationship with Nicks is positively Homeric. The video of him performing this on stage at the RR Hall of Fame induction while his muse, ex-lover and the object of his torment looks on and sings chorus is pure poetry. thanks for this cool version and great pics!14 years ago
