Prophetic title, come to think of it. Certainly a very specific, own sound, but not really my kinda singer, just too highpitched. Toto's Isolation CD is not a bad one, it was refreshing to hear another sound as Kimball, but indeed, the songs on it are less commercial. The Trillion work was very nice though, Le Roux still remains something to be discovered for me...

Tragic and terrible loss. Fergie will always be one of my most loved singers/songwriters and one of my biggest influences. It is so sad to lose another hero. Just now I find out he's dead. How can I express how bad that feels!? I've not lost anyone in my immediate family and I haven't lost any friends to death, but I have lost all the friends I had back a long time ago in school because they all became drug addicts or were losers. Fergie fought a brave battle against the cancer that claimed his life. He looks really ravaged in this video, but right up to the end he was doing what Clifford T. Ward did with his 15 year battle against MS and singing, writing, recording. Music in the end is the only thing that can heal the losses we suffer. Go listen to Trillion, LeRoux, or Toto. Go listen to your favorite singers and musical heroes. Even if they are dead the music will live on for eternity. Rest in peace Fergie. A lot of people like me and thousands of others loved you.
