In open G: DGDGBD (although I didn't bother to tune down the low E string, I just ignore it entirely).

Thank you for sharing! I have known for awhile how to play the slide parts to this song in open G - the mystery to me was the two chords that Paul plays when Lowell starts singing the first verse "Spot Check Billy got down on his...." Thanks for solving that mystery for me!

I used to be in a bar band that did a bunch of Steely Dan songs. You're right, I should dust off a couple for the channel.

C'est vrai. Love your humor. While it's on my mind, ever take on any Steely Dan or Climax Blues Band? I realize SD isn't considered a guitar band, per se, but some of their mid-late 70s stuff has some kickass guitar. (Rikki, Don't Take Me Alive, Haitian Divorce, Peg, etc.) Just wondering.

More modest than talented, which is probably a good thing!

I agree 100%...except for the "fantastic job" part. :)

Excellent. For anyone not fortunate enough to have experienced the ORIGINAL Little Feat, do yourself a favor and browse Youtube. Lowell George was THE MAN when it came to funky rockin' gumbo slide. Plus, he ranks among the greatest white blues singers ever, IMHO. I was blessed to see them at a small college venue in '74, and I'd never heard of them. But when Lowell started playing, I was hooked. No offense to the post-LG Feat, but it was just never the same. Fantastic job tricker and HoyHoy!

Thanks Chris! All you need is a craftsman 11/16 socket on your pinkie to complete the effect. Can't get enough Lowell George. Guess that guitar player sure could play..(.i.e. Howzabout showing us some Dixie Chicken?) Thanks for all you do. Best wishes for the new year.
