I thought this was the performance of Fat Man on "Waiting for Columbus" , but that was from a Washington DC gig, I believe. But Lowell's vocal was just as spectacular here in Germany as it he was in the US. The intro is longer here by eight bars and the duet mix with Lowell and Richie favors Mr. Hayward in this live performance.

If Lowell was still with us, I could absolutely see him still performing. And it might be a similar take to rock and roll near 70 as the Stones present. But he isn't. At least we have many of Little Feat at the top of its game.I'll take it over the alternative.

This is as good as Feat ever got, which is pretty fucking great.

Given the wonder that was Lowell George one might overlook the mighty Richie Heywood-he was ALL rhythm! The Whole band was on fire. Bill Payne anyone? The hell with it-they were all wonderful, and minus the two aforementioned giants, they still are! Top top top band. Long may Feat rain

The mix is all over the place here but it's still great - this was a band on peak form at that time.

kirk johnwiggle: No, but I'll have to check him out. Thanks. Oh, I see where Johnny states he "begrudgingly" lives in Los Angeles. On a shoot across country back in the mid-70's, I once drove through Rochester MN on the way to Des Moines. I don't recall if I experienced any particular emotion, grudging or not, since it was too early and too cold to climb out of the car. It was mid - June

THe "Waiting For Columbus" album is one of my favorite live double albums and this is just what the R & R Doctor ordered. Thanks WestLAguy. Do you know of Johnnie Pemberton, musician and cable TV guy for a few episodes, also stand up comic? He is from Rochester MN where my oldest son met and grew up with him. :)

Back in the day my best friend and I were heading over to Brown's Mills, NJ to see Little Feat when we found out that Lowell George died, I can't describe how awfully bummed out we were. I love their music to this day especially cause I lived down in Biloxi, Ms. right at the time these guys were really getting their act together. RIP Lowell, we will always love ya!

Why did you ruin your comment, mr WestAGuy with nauseating obscenity>? Don't you have enough command of English to survive without resorting to slime-mouthing? Now I cannot put it up on my Facebook page,. Please be more considerate in the future,.

Great to hear these guys again. Each of them such strong musicians and each making a distinct contribution, but somehow it all melds together. You don't quite realize how great Lowell was as a singer until you hear someone else try to do it. Craig Fuller sounds like a bad lounge singer when he takes Lowell's parts on the reconstituted Little Feat.

A completely underrated band...superior musicians, great writing, unequalled production...one of my favorite bands. I miss you Lowell

Ritchie Hayward should have song some lead vocals during his time with LITTLE FEAT. His strong voice is heard in this video.
