Of course we would love to be listening to Sandy singing this circa 2013...but she has gone ...and if she survived she might not have been singing the song as beautifully as she did circa 1969....she died a tragic figure ...accident or not ....she wasnt the Sandy of 1969.....this version is a credit to her....and dont forget Richard Thompsons beautiful electric guitar isnt on here either.....

Simon nowadays gives really masterful vocal renditions of some of Sandy's songs, to the extent that having seen him sing this one many times, I actually prefer his version!

I've only recently become reaquainted with this amazing song. Loved Sandys version of course, but this is a different but equally brilliant version. The musicianship is sublime and there is a feel to the song that just fits perfectly. Awesome.
