Ron Wood and Ronnie lane were such a great songwriting duo !! Rod Stewart gelled great in the writing process with the faces as well but when these two got together its just magical

lovely Piano by Mac on this, the bare bones of which became the strings hook to poacher later, an old trick of Ronnie's nick a middle 8 or hook off one song and turn it into something else (check out Gimme a Penny and Annie), as he said "everyone nicks off someone but it's alright to nick something from yourself from time to time"

Rod Stewart, Ronnie Lane and Ronnie Wood. I came home from Vietnam in November of 1970 and, almost immediately, became a fan of Faces and then, later, Small Faces. Music, like smell or a photograph, can be the vehicle used to travel back to another time & place in one's life. This song takes me back to a time when everyday was the best day of my life.

This was sung by Ronnie Lane with help from Ronnie Wood. Their voices blend so beautifully together on this song it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.
