The cover reminds me "the Village Thing" by The Sun Also Rises, same orange, same font...

She has such a wonderful voice, but I think I'm gonna stick to Jansch's version of the song.

I just found the album, available on Youtube. Thank you so much for the offer. :) And I love Pentangle! The Trees They Do Grow High is one of my favorites.

I think Bert Jansch performed an early contemporary rendition of it, but as far as I know "Rosemary Lane" is British folk song that dates back as far as the early 1800s. I'll check into Jansch. I hope he's folksy. Thank you for the suggestion!

@lartisteautravil, I realize it's been a year, but check out Kate Rusby's 'stretched out on your grave', Cara Dillons earlier stuff like 'Donald of Glencoe, Banshee in the Kitchens 'war hent', Eliza Carthy's 'limbo' and maybe 'the Creel' by Paul Brady. If you can find any songs by Uisce that aren't instrumentals like 'pretty young maid milking her cow' might be worth the effort too.

Are there any other songs of Espers or songs from similar artists you could recommend? I can't get enough of this song, but Pandora seems to keep hooking me up with stuff that isn't as folksy.

I miss seeing Espers Live. I saw them in Philly and in D.C. and both were soul changing experiences. Simply beautuful people and musicians. Thank you Espers.
