you quoted half of the sentence, before i said that i specifically talked about the exceptions, be it lavey or actual gnostics. and wtf i never said viking metal had anything to do with satan, read what i wrote, you won't see the word satan in there, i was just talking about how the sound of the genre doesn't always match the theme for the lyrics: "amon amarth and unleashed for example speak about nordic mithology and they're not viking metal, they're death metal bands"

i didn't said there wasn't. i said it's a minority, not the stereotype everyone outside metal believes in. gaahl is one of the rare cases, but talking about satan does not make your band satanic, amon amarth and unleashed for example speak about nordic mithology and they're not viking metal, they're death metal bands

alot of metal? black metal? man you got a few dozen black metal bands who may agree with lavey's philosophy and even fewer who are actually gnostic satans, but that's it, there's no satanism in metal. yes, most of metal is, and proudly, anti-christian, but no, not satanic. it just uses a stronger and more straightforward critic than the rest of other genres

Wow, a band from Norway with snow and bare trees! It has mean doggies and a scabby dude too! Way to not think outside the box guys! This video needs more slow motion jiggling breasts, perhaps a colorful parakeet or two. Kidding aside I love Enslaved, their videos not so much.
