the entire album is great! I still have my original vinyl album. This song is one of my favs but From the Beginning is so cool....absolutely embraced the British invasion!!! So many awesome bands ! Trilogy came out in '72 and the band rocked !

Love the Aaron Copeland feel of the middle section. The honky-tonk piano finale is pure Emerson gold. On the score it's marked "As Fast as Possible". No danger of misinterpretation there.

It always makes me laugh that these guys were bagged for being "pretentious" yet when they played something for a laugh, like this track, or Benny the Bouncer (which i also love) theyre "filler". Theyre having FUN ferrcrissakes...theyre also playing BLOODY well and to me theres nothing better....oh and just before Carls famous "shiiit" you can hear the rim shot that caused it....cracks me up every time
