Thought I'd heard everything from my favouring tro, but there is a new one on me. A very pleasant surprise; thanks for sharing.

perhaps Sir Keith didn't wish to detract from the vocal and lyrics

It's a beautiful song, but wouldn't have fit well on Tarkus-Trilogy maybe.

Nice for completists, but understandably not on the original classic album for good reason.

Sounds a little like Hendrix style.

I've never heard this either, and I thought I knew them all. Is Emerson actually on this? I don't detect any of his style in the piano. Is that Palmer? Is this a Greg solo thing, him playing all the instruments? He was their producer after all...

This is a great song - It must have been too personal for Greg at the time - I can only imagine they pulled it from Tarkus because no one wants to expose that much to the world - Mike Rutherford of Mike and the Mechanics did with "In The Living Years."I feel the same towards my dad now - but its too little - too late- Cheers

Unusual for ELP but great nonetheless with some stately and soulful guitar work. Dave Gilmour eat your heart out!

Too friggin' sad (the lyrics). It did not belong on the "Tarkus" album.
