I have this on cassette tape also, that I bought many years ago. Would also play this song over and over. I'm pretty sure that tape is worn from repeated play.

Hissing? You mean on the tape? Best I recall, there was very little hissing on cassettes at that time. Yeah, I'd love to hear it too, unfortunately some SOB broke into my car and stole *ALL* my cassette tapes that I had at the time!!! I had like 5 cases full of tapes. Probably 150 tapes. Had a great Blaupunkt system too. Those were the days. That's life. So many good songs on this "album". Costello is an extremely gifted songwriter. In my Top 5 or 6. But nobody beats JJ (Joe Jackson). Nobody.

Yeah, it sounds remixed. I had this on the original cassette tape. Sounds very different. Used to drive for hours just to listen to this tremendous piece of work.
