I could bet, Elton wrote and recorded that song with Alice Cooper in mind. Maybe even has written it for him, who knows? He was a huge fan of Alice back then (and vice versa), and Bernie Taupin links between them anyway. (All The Girls Love Alice was even played in the documentary Super Duper Alice Cooper)
