During my Rock and Roll Band years in La this song was before my time in the 1980's . I grew up on this Music . It's one of the reasons I wanted to be in a band ! I lived this song with the Sharks and Thugs in the Record industry . It's real ! Takes me back to Hollywood in my early Twenties . The song remains the same ~

Elton was putting out some great records leading up to this. However, something got in his and Bernie's water because GYBR is from a whole other dimension. Nothing has compared to it since. As a kid I studied every detail in the lp jacket and memorized every nuance in the music. As a teen drummer I learned every stroke and played to it daily for months. Those were times that make me glad to be 60 years on....
