This is absolutely one of the greatest and most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I cannot believe it is unreleased. Get your collective act together executors of the estate and give this masterpiece to the hungry world please. We need it. The lyrics are much appreciated but a few mistakes should be fixed. Thanks for everything Elliott. Such a kind pure soul. I love you :)

Gorgeous. I will never understand why this was not included in any posthumus release. It is breath taking and I've heard dozens of others that are too. Frankly I'd rather buy it than download it online where I can get a virus, and I'd like the money to go to Elliott's charity for abused children. Someone get on this please. His music deserves to be heard and acknowledged. It's been 10 years since he passed. This is timeless and utterly unique. Get on it whoever is responsible for this, please.

Best song of the 2000's, as in, the whole decade. How did he write this? The verse, and alterations to it, are effortless, as if he just plucked the changes right out of the air. The bridge feels like a part was inserted, but it is so clean that it does not interrupt anything. This is a master songwriter. Forget the lyrics, he could say anything over this. This isn't about drugs. Why do so many of Eliott Smith fans think his works are about fucking drugs? Is is about GOD

@heyjude97 well, we can look for light in the darkness. The song comes from a very dark place that maybe some who has not experienced what he did will not get. Yeah, it may bring some light into your life. But that light has to come out of darkness. It is like the "one can not experience true pleasure if they have not experienced true pain". This song speaks to that if you take the time to hear it, not just listen to it.

@staphinfection I like to think of Elliott's music as very light music. There's nothing I see that's dark about it. I hate the term 'dark.' :)
