This song is brilliant and a 3 part story...easy really if you know his story: First: A convo with his alchoholic mum....she killed an army. Second Stepdad is a ball buster....hated that mofo Third: Realization that he cared more for his mother than she did for him and the wasted energy he spent on 'trying to make it work' with her. This guy was a genius, a beautiful soul, and is still probably (to me at least) the biggest secret in music. His music is and always will be SO real, HONEST and PERFECT,......
