Used to have this record at one point & the haircut!.This is the best version of the best record ever. The drums are unbelievable although I heard they had to re-record them after for this. A guy I once knew saw them at the time, he was right at the front and watching de Freitas. The pedal on the bass drum fell apart and he said Pete just carried on playing kicking the drum with his foot - peerless

Seen them must be 12 times at least over the year right from the 1st tour when I think only Pictures/Books was out on vinyl....greatest band ever hands down.

By far, this the best recorded live version of the song. The shear instrumental power and raw energy of the band comes right through. Thanks for posting.

Agree with bealtown. Great audio but the original Bill Butt "Shine So Hard" created an accidentally evocative and dark vision. I remember seeing this on late night rock TV in Australia and being blown away by the Bunnymen. Still in awe of their talent even if they are a different sort of beast now.

Great audio, very tight playing of some of their coolest, edgiest music but WTF is with this boring, alienating video? Whose idea of concert film is this? Are we supposed to think of the band as archetypal or primal or what? Lay-ame!

I was thinking about Pete earlier today and how much I miss him and how much he is missed. Best drummer ever, no contest ...
