After she died in the late 1990's her "secret" came out and I had heard back in 1990 that she was a lesbian from a group of lesbian females who were in her age bracket. I was really young and I didn't believe it at first. Then again many homosexual and lesbian females know about of one another's sexuality because of the gossip mills. Trust me gay bars may not be the latest place that "straights" hang out in. So it take's awhile but when the "cage bird flies" oh brother does it ever! I adored her for her glam gowns,wigs and eyelashes. Her sexuality was never a big thing to me...it would have never really killed her career or would it?
