Brilliant song! B-side? Shows how times have changed and the business has gone down the toilet.

The lead vocal on this song is Rudy Lewis. Cool, slim dude. They all were wearing dark brown tux. Charlie Thomas, there was Dock, and Tommy. I have all their songs. There was another dude called Elsbeary. He was back stage and we drank wine with him and the group during intermission. Priceless..When the Drifters returned back on stage they sang a song called Baltimore and Elsbeary did a base part in this song that was really out of sight. You can hear his voice loud and clear. Priceless..

This was a live performance in Chicago attended by a fan who actually met Rudy and the Drifters. I merely wanted details on their personalities and appearances as a devoted lady fan. Some of us are still around who actually saw that set of Drifters performed lived. If you can't be there, television or tape is the next best thing. Oh well I can always imagine.

That is actually Rudy Lewis third from the left in the photo in this video. Sadly there doesn't seem to be any live video recording of him performing live with the Drifters.

So how was RUDY, I know he sounds fantastic. But was he tall, short, slim? Who was with him at the the time with the Drifters? I remember so well, the day he died, right before SAM. What a voice they both had.

This is Rudy Lewis singing Mexican divorce with the Drifters. I saw the Drifters back in the 60's in Chi Town and Rudy Lewis was singing lead.
