Both Portnoy and Mangini are phenomenal drummers with their own style. Although I would say that when Mangini plays, he always looks like he's having the time of his life, laughing and connecting with Petrucci, Ruddess, Labrie and Myung through eye contact, whereas Portnoy always looked so serious playing the drums. I wouldn't say he never smiled because obviously he did, it's just that Mangini is 100% smiles when he plays

mucho show... nada de clase.... matices 0%, ritmos interesantes 0%... composición en los dos últimos álbumes de DT?.... ni un solo cambio rítmico interesante... de verdad que le hace muchiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisima falta MP a la banda. con el cada nota de cada canción tenía una lógica y un sentido, nunca notas de más ni de menos... hay gente muy talentosa y con muchas habilidades técnicas que nunca llegan a entender que en la música el feeling y la buena composición lo es todo... no llenar de notas y arreglos miles y sin sentido (a lo tonto) en cada canción...
