6:00 I can't help thinking about Terence Fletcher (from the drum film "Whiplash"). Jordan Rudess is like a copy of him! The same low voice, also bald, cold eyes, a bit of a mean look... The derogatory way he looks at the drummer when he makes a mistake.. I bet he already knew it was over for him, 1 second after he messed up!

Mangini was definitely the most technical of the auditions, and showed he could adapt to DT's style, which got him the job, but I still think Minneman was just as good, with a more creative flair. I wished Marco had gotten the job, but Mike works well.

Peter is the only guy to use one bass drum and in my opinion he did the best.

There is no such thing like "7 best drummers of the world". Such a list may consist of more than thousand drummers anyway. My preference out of this seven would be:1. Thomas Lang (Most disciplined drummer out there, it is obvious that he sweats blood to get to that level. That guy can literally play any style with ease. He can lead with both hands and feet, he may play any pattern with his feet which his hands can play. He tries to master every combination possible. I am glad he wasn't hired. Thomas was too manly for these fags. )2. Marco Minnemann (Very creative and talented. fun to watch.)3. Virgil Donati ( He is a freak )4. Peter Wildoer5. Derek Roddy ( He works hard and seems like he has a really nice personality. He needs a little bit versatility in his playing)6. Mike Mangini ( He is plain boring for me)7. Aquiles Priester ( I don't know why he is even invited)I am not a fan of dream theater, as far as i see from the audition video it would be really disgusting to work with these guys. Fake smiles, masked disdain. It looks like they made up their decision (choosing mike mangini) before the audition. That keyboardist was really riding on his horse saying that two of the world's best drummer could not do what they asked for. Bumptious asshole deserves a punch in the face.
