This takes me back to the Lizard Lounge here in Houston on Richmond avenue in 1991. I couldn't get enough of this song.

One of those rare hidden gems. Sam Sever, one of the greatest producers ya never heard of. Love the shit he did with 3rd Bass on the Cactus album, Derelicts of Dialect, L.O.N.S. and many others. This was an album he dropped with Bosco Money back in 1991 on Def Jam when the label was runnin' things and the beats was ILL. I heard Sam DJ's now around New York at certain clubs and still makes music now and then. +RUBIX UNO your an old school vet, remember this? #DowntownScience

I had the tape, played it till it popped, then I got the CD. Played it on my way to the beach a few weeks ago. Still waiting for that second album, lol! By the way, you want to hear some far out stuff, look up the Future Sound and the Whole Shabang. Trust me, it's only for the real advanced, true Hip- Hop heads.

Still so ahead of its time lyrically! He broke down some audio theory in this joint that has never been done or duplicated.

Haven't listened to this tune since like '92. Just as ill as I remembered. Like the other heads are saying, way advanced for its time.

I can promise you in 1990 no one knew what fiber optics were.. not anyone who wasn't an engineer anyway. I give this guy props, like I did when I discovered in in 1991.

Literate lyrics-- as opposed to illiterate lyrics.. this is what's missing from hip-hop.. this was also before Wu-Tang was kicking all the god-science stuff...

Exactly man, this song sounded futuristic heads weren't ready yet. Sam Sever's beat sounded like a computer did it so right and exact. He used an MPC60, he told me on myspace. Dope "88 to 108 megahertz pushin' solid state" how dope is that line.

Is this audio horrible or is it just me? Keeps cutting in and out at certain parts.
