Very rare song recorded around 1959 in Kingston, Jamaica. This was issued in Jamaica in small quantities and then in England on the Starlite label around 1960.

Wow - this really got the groove! I only recently have heard about the doo-wop scene in Jamaica. The only other group I know of is the Jivin' Juniors, and I think Bob Marley may have cut a group harmony side, too. Great find!

That's what I thought when I first heard it but it definitely is. First pressings of this are on the R&B label from Kingston, Jamaica.

I love it. It sounds like a girl group or mixed gender yet there is no real bass or falsetto in the song. In the bridge the guitar actually plays the part that could be a high falsetto. It's a bit unusual yet it works. Very nice harmonies. I've heard other doo wops from Jamaica. Recently I was in St. Lucia and heard a record from a Jamaican named Tessann Chin. It was a Reggae version of Foreigners " I Wanna Know What love Is." Google it. It's Amazing. BTW she Is now a contestant on The Voice.
