I grew up in Philly 1952-1960. Philly as I remember it was a hot spot for Doo Wop ( at the time called Blues I think). I remember listening to Little Lord Fauntleroy (sp) on the radio and watching Band Stand with Bob Horn as the host not Dick Clark.

No doubt PJ it's the first time hearing this one. A very interesting and nice melody for a Philly sound. Was the flip any good? Thanks for sharing.

Over the 6 years I've been posting I've been slowly making changes to and upgrading my equipment. It's pretty amazing for me to go back to some of my older postings and see the difference. I'd eventually like to repost this.. It would sound a lot less grainy now with the cartridges I'm using now

This is sooo amazing. My Grandfather was Earl Forman, one of the singers on this record. He Past away long ago, and I don't know much about him, but I was always told that he sang in a group called the Co-Harts. Thank you for posting this record. This has always been such a mystery in my family. I can't wait to share this with the rest of my family. Thank You!!!

Actually the Clickettes are from NY. A lot of people think they're from Philly because Blavat played their music a lot. Barbara English, their lead. went on to do some great soul records.

@PJDooWop Thanks for sharing such a rare treasures as this. I guess one would have to have lived in Philadelphia to have heard. Nonetheless, it is the Doo Wop sound and a joy to listen to.

It's not a Vee-Jay production. This was bought from Norgolde Records in Philly.

@PJDooWop PJ, this song, while basically OK, is just not up to the standards of the what VJ usually put out--the El Doradoes, the Dells, the Spaniels, the Magnificants, etc.
