We'll see Dottsy at the Texas Theater in Seguin, TEXAS this weekend with Darrell & Mona McCall. No place I'd rather see her. Dottsy is amazing! And every bit as down to earth and sweet as you can imagine. Last time we saw her, she was so happy to visit with us again and sign our grandson's little guitar. Wonderful lady!!!

Dotsy from Sequin, Texas used to tour South Texas. Nice voice and had all the elements to stardom but didn't make it because of bad management.

To: Lauretta Gholston, I have only heard Ronnie Milsap sing this song, was this his song? She does have a beautiful voice and does a great job with this song. Jeanie

I've loved the voice of Dottsy since the very first time I heard her sing I'll Be Your San Antone Rose....I've sung her songs in my personal appearances and always get requests to do them. Dottsy doesn't sound like anyone else....just a very beautiful, original Texas Girl!

This was one of the best songs to come out of Nashville in the late 70's which sadly by then the sound was more pop oriented (think Dolly Parton) instead of traditional country. Dottsy's song was a breath of fresh air to those of us listening to country music on the radio back then.
