WHY the hell can't publishers hire SOMEBODY who can straighten out the SCREWED-UP song titles like this one?! I have seen EVERY ridiculous attempt to combine PLURALS and POSSESSIVES on this song title that do NOTHING but convince the world that Country Music is infested with deeply-ingrained IGNORANCE! Folks, it is "LILY's WHITE LIES!" Get it RIGHT or get out! Her name is LILY and they are HER lies, so all you need is an Apostrophe S, to show possession, and they belonged to her! Not ANY of that NONSENSE, like the "ie" that is associated with the plural... GOOD GRIEF... :-)

agreed.... Nashville doesn't care about true talent anymore...they'll take any artist who can BANK$ sales. Talent is low on the list. Which I can understand to a degree, after all that's the business end's main objective, but there is no more "show" in "show business" these days. Martin Delrey put on a good show ! I met him once . Great guy.

Still my favorite song over 20 years later. I still miss him, what a great guy with so much talent, Nashville should be ashamed for letting him go. They still favor no talent people with nothing to offer that think they can sing. Country Music is gone forever.
