This album, this band, this song came from a better time. Sad to know that it's gone forever. I was glad to have lived there, even if it was only for a little while.

First time I ever saw the Doobies was on this tour at Winterland in San Francisco, back in 1974. What a show ! Opening acts: REO Speedwagon, and Frampton's Camel w / Peter Frampton, ( all for $7, think it was ) I think I read recently, that they were the biggest band in the country at that time.

Oh I can't stop going back in time, in my mind. They're the best ever! Every song, every single one reminds me of a time, a place, with my girl. Gonna fix the world, gonna be with each other 4ever. "Les,I love you. They're still rocking strong! Love ya always! My soul has been stirred as tears come to me! I hate to think where I'd be without em! Thank you, Pat, Tommy, John, Skylark, Miss ya, Hassack, thanks for being in my life! You're in my hall of fame! 1970-20??,,, Love you, Doobies! :)

This is their best album ever. Funny, today I'll bet 90% don't know what an album is. But the old classic rockers know. I think I wore out at least 2 "Vices" 8 tracks. Hey, when something is this good, it lasts forever!

I had the 45 of Black Water (the 1st record I bought in my lide). I hadn't played the b-side for quite a nuimber of years until one day I was bored and pit the b-sid on and this wonderful litle song came on. This song quickly pvertook Black Water as my favorite song of that 45. I'm surprised this song didn't make the Top 40
