Of course Journey is not the same without Steve Perry. The whole sentence explains itself. Steve Perry is no longer their singer and that's the only difference. But I think everything has changed now not only the band but the whole musical atmosphere changed. The fans, music genre, everything changed. There are new bands now expressing their type of music and having their own followers unlike before when everything revolved in just one type of music.. Rock'N'Roll. Some Journey fans from their haydays back in the 70's and 80's stayed with the original line-up and discriminate the filipino guy with all the insults that they can throw.. Some continued to support Journey regardless of who's the singer. Some fans just learned to love Journey because of the new singer. But whatever the reason or whatever comes up, people must learn to move on.

People hating need to realize Arnel didn't replace Perry, he continued his Legacy for another group of listeners. You think Perry DOESN'T want the royalty checks to keep rolling in?? Come on now, he wasn't booted out, he was too injured to tour and just had to make due with his situation.
