From one of her most successful albums 'Another Place And Time' I listened to this song through my dear older sister who is no longer with us and I do thank her as this is one of a very few from this great album where I came to learn and love more about Donna.

She had the likes of 'I Feel Love', 'Love's Unkind' 'Hot Stuff' but then came the 80s, and there was 'This Time I Know It's For Real' and 'I Don't Wanna Get Hurt'. This is one which many may not heard of and so if you haven't yet, I suggest you do :).

I do NOT possess or have the copyrights/ownership licensing for this.

Oh, and lastly on the album cover picture I have used for this video, it may say 'Jandry's Remix' there, but trust me, this is not a remix, it is the original version.

Edited: 17/5/2012, Donna Summer passed on at the age of 63 due to cancer. This song will be now here in memory of her. Rest In Peace Donna, sleep well :( x x

Gosh I miss this grand Lady. I love the album "Another Place & Time" As far as the voice, well there is no finer singer in history in my opinion. I think "Once Upon A Time" is far better than "Bad Girls"

Serious contender for best SAW track EVER! Top drawer vocal - heartbreakingly excellent chords and melody

Her vocals are what propel these songs... they are solid/great pop songs; but in the hands of any other vocalist... it just wouldn't have work. This is SAW favourite album.

This was a great album and completely underrated at the time. It was not the best album she has recorded... Bad Girls is far and away a musical masterpiece.

I'll never understand why this or "the only one" from the same album were not released as a single instead of "Breakaway" and "When love takes over you".

Yes!!! It was the best album Donna ever recorded. A true masterpiece. It should have won the Grammy for album of the year. I'm SO grateful I saw her live before we lost her. And what a loss that is. She was an amazing talent. I miss her.

You're not the only person who loves this album. I really like the whole 'Another Place And Time' album. For me the best S.A.W. album ever produced. Especially this song and 'The only one'.

"Mugged".....you couldn't be more right!! This IS a flawless masterpiece. I'm so grateful I saw her live a couple of years ago. She sang like a "bird".....she is now singing to the angels and they are smiling. This should have won "Album of the Year", hands down!!

This was by FAR the best album Donna Summer ever recorded. The tracks are the best from beginning to end; they are brillaint muscially. Ironically, the only song I on the album that is not a favorite is the title song....but I digress. What I don't understand is why this did not win "Album of the Year". This album is an absolute masterpiece!!!

omg i'm so glad somebody agrees with me. i thought i was the only one in the whole world who remembers this album and thinks it was a flawless masterpiece with barely one duff tune. it's a testament to summer's colossal talent that she could work with someone as derided as PWL and SAW and come out with such a credible album.
