Is there any more videos of this concert apart from the one he talks about shoes?

*On The Amazon*One of the staples of Don McLean's early live performances. From the 1929 English musical, Mr. Cinders, a gender swapped retelling of Cinderella.

I learned to lyrics to this song in 6th grade back in the 70's with hopes of impressing the girl whom I liked. I didn't work, but I still know and love this song today.

What a funny song. So what if there was a bomb, they should have waited for him to finish the song. Now that interrruption is forever part of this rare video. Grrrr...

Its true, even into the 80's I remember the bomb threats called into school. Of course all were false.

Have always loved this song and Don McLean, got him to sign his double Around the World tour LP when he played Big Top Chataqua in Bayfield, WI. So nice to hear again his tunes on You Tube.

I saw Don Live at the Tubador on Santa Monica Blvd- in 1972 .... He did this live of course- , we did not have a bomb scare - I venture to say the man who came out should have been sued for potentially raising a riot -

Yes, there was the occasional bomb scare in the '70s, but very rarely any bombs.
