Charted at #78 on Billboard Hot 100 in August 1956. B-side of "Ghost Town" which charted at #22. After Don made a comeback to the charts (he had a few hits in the early '50's) with his smash hit, "Band of Gold" (charting at #4 in December 1955), he continued to chart throughout 1956 with his singles before dissappearing from the charts again. Later, he had one or two minor items on the Adult Contemporary and Country charts in the late '60's. This song had earlier been a #16 hit for the Mills Brothers in February 1944.
