Dois grandes guitarristas que escreveram uma historia no mundo da musica e nos deram muitas alegrias Clapton e Knopfler.

Yeah Clapton & Knopfler, are indeed the best. But don't forget about Carlos Santana, He rates right up there with them.

As much as i love Mark Knopfler, EC pissed on him on this song and cringe saying that.

Everytime i see Clapton play with other great guitarist he is always happy just to sit behind and play the necessary things rather than trying to blow people away he is an amazing unselfish person and Mark Knopfler is a pure genius in this aswell he is all class him and Clapton are so different in many ways but are the same in many ways

I think the reason Clapton was included in the number is because it essentially a blues song which is right in EC's wheelhouse. And as this was a brand new song, still in the running for the On Every Street album, it couldn't have been rehearsed much. I love how they just look at each other when its time to switch up, a little nod or even a glance and they don't miss a beat. Mark does seem to turn up the volume a bit at the end to close Eric down. Ha!! LOVE IT!!
