well, 50 years later...that's really stretching at one's leisure!! LOL. But yep, it's a blessing for us to enjoy music on YT which is about all I use it for.

And that's the blessing of sites like this one. Instead of letting radio do one's thinking for them, it's all out there now for anyone to discover and enjoy at their own leisure.

I was a big huge fan of Dion's from the very start with Lonely Teenager (and before when he was with the Belmonts), but I don't recall This Little Girl coming between Donna the Prima Donna and Ruby Baby. It seems more than possible that it didn't make motown playlists for whatever reason. Both DtPD and RB were super popular hits in motown.

Bobby Darin couldn't sing Rock and Roll ... Splish Splash and Queen of the Hop were rock and roll novelty records really. On the other hand, Runaround Sue and the Wanderer defined a new direction for rock and roll ... those two categories are polar opposites ... one guy was trying to fit into an on going genre and the other guy was creating one ... am I wrong here?

This dude is one of the all time great pop singers. He has a place on the Rolling Stone list to prove it too.
