From one of the most tragically underrated albums of the eighties, Shakespeare Alabama. A near-perfect debut with delivers Byrds/REM-like tunes in a power-pop vein, with celestial melodies and unforgettable tunes. In a perfect World "All the myths on Sunday" or "Here I stand", or in fact any other song in this album, would be all time classics and radio staples.

Someone here said that Kasabian can get lost, to put it mildly. Well, it maybe a little late but after hearing this track I was actually going to say the same thing myself. I held up hope for British rock after this song first came along. Kasabian came along much later and kicked the whole thing into touch. 'All The Myths On Sunday' is STILL this eras' 'I'm All Right Jack'!!

¡Tremendo tema! Quizás este grupo no sea muy conocido (creo que no editaron muchos discos), pero dejaron su impronta con temas como éste. Espero que os guste MUCHAS GRACIAS Y SALUDOS

Great band , great song . I'd put them in the se bracket as the Chameleons, in that they should both have been huge, but for some crazy reason, they wern't . Daft buisiness the record industry.Alan the Chameleons fan.

The more time passes, the more resistant to change are people who believe all the myths on Sunday.

Great band. Discovered them after they toured with Big Country in the late 1980s. Had Shakespeare Alabama and Flipped on vinyl. Songs with passion and purpose. Love it!!

First time I've heard any of their original stuff ( my bad ! ) - touring soon as The Marrakesh Express ... seen them twice as 'The Byrdz' and they are absolutely brilliant - check them out at the Robin in Bilston on October 25th - Classic !

Good band, decent song. Singer John Butler is outstanding, surely one of the most underrated singers anywhere. My favourite DPW songs are the b-sides "What About Us" and "Above These Things".
