Saw you guy's many times in 80's London! I have most of your albums! You were such an awesome band, you inspired me to get in a band myself! Tell me though! Why does the video stop at 1:03????

@marrakeshexpressuk I've got the albums actually. I think I'm entitled to my opinion.

you i see are a "marillon" supporter which i think says all that needs to be said about your sense of rhythm. All the subsequent albums totally hold up to the first and surpass it with majesty and groove as often as not .Check out Here OnTheHill from The Corporate Waltz or All Your Birthdays from Hip Replacement !

@Stravinski59 because the subsequent albums didn't come close to the first for whatever reason. I always felt that the rhythm section just didn't replicate the first album which was outstanding.

I was introduced to this band back in the late 80's by a great Bass Player mate of mine. I met John once and he was a top bloke; I believe they were getting ready to take on Europe. Whatever happened to this magnificent band. Best music I had heard since REM and House Of Love.

Why this band didn't make it much much bigger is a great mystery to me still. They were contemporary, current, original, and stood out from almost everything else that was going on - at least in the UK at the time. Fantastic lyrics, music, and the way the guitars complemented/played to each other was classic and spot-on. I suppose I will die without ever knowing the answer. Harumph.
