IMHO, as the 2012 US election draws nearer & Occupy approaches its 1st anniversary, some of the concepts in this piece can also be applied to the culture of complacency that exists within a sizable portion of the LGBT community (particularly G in my observation). That is, on social media sites & on the street, I've observed so many people saying they have no time for politics / social issues - it bores them, gets them down, etc. TOTAL apathy except for the club, the gym, Madonna or Gaga...

@DeathShamans Oh, well, than you got me wrong - cause I did not mean to refer to dark as a bad thing - what I meant was that I do not see her as dark - even though she might appear that way to some, she do not appear that way to me... I can understand why people would look at her as some sort of queen of the dark or something, - but well, I just don`t see her that way. And neither do I look at darkness as a bad thing.

@DeathShamans actually in my opinion - not dark at all...just looks dark to a lot of people....but in my eyes she is a light in the darkness that sometimes is to find in this world.... through her honest expressions she is so truthful to her own feelings, feelings which many of us can recognize, but she dares to let em out, not caring about what the rest of the world might say - and to me, that is being light - following your heart.
