Devil On A Hog - Bruce Dickinson (2005) video free download

"Devil On A Hog" was released in the spring of 2005 on Bruce Dickinson's sixth solo album, Tyranny Of Souls. This was Bruce's first solo since rejoining Iron Maiden in 1999. I'm a huge fan of Iron Maiden and have been wanting to work up something for one of their tunes for quite some time. This is one of the heavy metal bands that was seriously doing something different and unique during the late 1970's and into the 80's.....but thinking about what tune to do first, I keep returning to some of my favorite Bruce solo songs....and finally decided to work up one of the solo tracks since they receive (relatively) little recognition as compared to the better known Iron Maiden catalog. I really have a difficult time selecting my favorite Bruce Dickinson songs, because he as recorded so many incredible things....this track from his latest competes for the top spot as far as which are my favorites. If you're an Iron Maiden fan (and there is absolutely no excuse not to be! :-), and you've not checked into Bruce's solo records....wow!, you are in for a treat.....some of this stuff is not only equal to the best Maiden, but it's even better. The writing on Bruce's solo records is outstanding!

This album not only features the incredible guitar work of Roy Z (this guy can seriously play some wicked guitar....featured on all Bruce's solo records) but he also produced the record.....AND co-wrote the songs!

"Devil On A Hog" is such an incredible track....I"m especially fond of Bruce's harmonizing with himself (and that strong guitar work from Roy Z!).....every single time this track comes up on my Ipod rotation at home, work, driving or jogging....I am completely unable to resist hitting replay at least 3-4times. I LOVE this track!

As far as my video effort, this one was pretty quick (little less than 4 hours) since I started with a clear concept, good elements and a little luck......of course the lyrics to the song were a huge help, so easy to build around!
