This woman must be 70 now. I wonder did she have a singing career?

this was awful flat and emotionless and just a downright copy Lesley had more sass and attitude when she sung this song

Sounds as good as Leslie Gores Hit.

Never mind that this is lip-synch. The arrangement, tempo, key, background vocal arrangement are ALL IDENTICAL to Ms. Gore's. With a slightly louder drum. Real creative Aussie type.

I enjoyed this version. Of course Lesley Gore owns this song but this is very good. RIP Lesley Gore. You will always be loved.

This is "Sing Sing Sing", an australian tv show on air 62 to 66. Greetings from Lima!

Denise captured the mood much better. Dimly lit night with lamp posts only. She has something to say, and she is going to say it, and you had better listen, then you had better leave. Then she disappears. Lesley is just playing to the crowd.

Pretty good cover, way behind Lesley's great version in my opinion. She is cute, though.

Ok, now I've found the Lesley Gore version posted by Slick Rocks and it does sound like the tune that I remember. My previous post was made after listening to a live version posted by Johan Vilchez which to me sounded terrible. I do still like the Denise Keene version better though.

I've heard this song played so many times on the radio all my life and remember the sound so vividly in my mind. I wanted to find it on youtube but didn't remember the artist. I easily found Lesley Gore version but it was just a shallow uninspiring version that would have certainly been buzzed off by Simon Cowell on American Idol. I have never heard of Denise Keene and Google didn't bring up anything on her but this is definitely the powerfult tune that I remember. She's amazing! I wonder what happened to her.

People seems to be making a big deal about Denise being 16 in this video, well Lesley Gore was 17 when she originally recorded this song...

Interesting. Never heard of Denise Keene before. Would like to hear more. The original smash, sung by Lesley Gore and produced by Quincy Jones was essentially a number one record and has strength, determination, and passion that only Lesley can put into it. I like hearing other versions, though.

Good grief this is like a horrendously awful Karaoke version of Lesley Gore's record. What show is this from? It seemed to feature horrible renditions of great American Pop Artist's hit songs.

Hi, did she bring out other songs/covers or did she only sang in clubs?
