Simply all time record. Blows the doors on anything else they did.

Heard this on a Record Mirror giveaway tape at the time. Thought it was wonderful. A world away from the dreary MoR adult orientated rock they trotted out latterly. Incredible to think it is the same band that put out Nothing Ever Happens

A semi-obscure 80s classic album..... Should have been huge ! Bought it used in the promo bin when it first came out......Thanks for posting

This, Crows in the Wheatfield and Keepers played together seemed like a mini opera to me....Love this album! Criminally underrated. Thanks for posting!

I can't claim to have been alive when this was released, but this song does bring back loads of memories.. Thanks for uploading it :)

Sounds like early Trashcan Sinatras. Good stuff but just a tad too smarty pants. Not surprised Justin doesn't go there now.

i fucking loved this album, nice quirky tangents, nice playing, good harmonys, every song different.i heard justin currie blanks it,i was in a band at the time this album came out,i thought fuck me,this is what we are up against.they changed their sound to a bluesy country load of bollucks.what a shame, did someone leave or get kicked out of the band, chemistry lost

shame this wasnt a big hit..liked their later stuff but wonder how they would have sounded if they hadnt changed musical direction, this album was quality...

Fantastic album. This is such a factory circa 1985 record. Why did they end up sounding so shite after this? If a group did this today eveyone would be lauding them as the next best thing. Pity but have enjoyed listening to this tonight.

@Lorrico14 ...a truly under rated album from the 1980s....sounds a bit like mumford and sons IMO

This remains one of my favourite albums from that period. Great to see on here. I'm torn between wanting more people to view and not wanting everyone to find out about this gem of a record!

Thank you for posting! Great song, great album. Wish that they hadn't taken that hiatus and changed.
